On Google Reviews a year ago I posted my issues with the Phonak Paradise line and the Sonova Group. This hearing aid shows promise, BUT: 1- At several thousand dollars for a pair, the price is way too high for what you get and are promised but don't get. 2- The wind noise mitigation feature is a ruse. 3- User-controlled tone control is way too entry-level. 4- Pre-programmed settings are regrettably inflexible. 5- User documentation for the Android version of the Phonak App is inadequate. 6- The stability of some settings is weak. 7- The tinnitus management approach amounts to just more noise. I'd like to see some controlled research results to be persuaded this is a legitimate selling point.
Now, a year later, I called to get info about purchasing another TV connector. The person I spoke with admitted she was new and unfamiliar with what I was referring to. But she insisted it would cost twice what I originally paid (now ~$300). So I sent an email to the person in charge of the office asking for clarification. That was several weeks ago. No response. Consequently, I downgraded my Google rating to only 1 star.
So I decided to simply show up at the store today with a new issue. The store was staffed by a lone audiologist. He said he was brand new; EVERYONE ELSE HAD SUDDENLY QUIT! He was very helpful so my rating here refers to him, and ONLY him.
