Connect Hearing Corsicana

Jasmine Wakoson, HIS alumni of Stephen F. Austin State University, BA-2010 , grew up in the DFW metroplex and later moved to South Sudan. While living in South Sudan, she spent a lot of time traveling with her older brother who is deaf. After witnessing the neglect in hearing health, she decided to pursue her career in the hearing health industry. She has been working in the hearing healthcare industry since 2014. She began her career as Patient Care Coordinator, then transitioned to a Patient Care Coordinator Regional Trainer, and now a Hearing Aid Dispenser.

Message to my patients: I always say deafness is a silent disability: you can't see, and it's not life-threatening, so it has to touch your life in some way in order for it to be on your radar. -Rachel Shenton

Directions traveling North: i45, Exit 235B, continue for 3.5 miles, turn right on E 1st Ave, continue for .5 miles, and turn left on N 15th Street.

Directions traveling South: i45, Exit 228 A, turn right on S 15th Street, continue for 2.5 miles, and turn left into the Southland Center parking lot after you have reach the intersection of 15th Street and 5th Avenue.

Directions traveling East: Take Highway 31 until you reach 15th Street. There will be an HEB grocery store on your right hand side. Turn right, you will pass Super 1 Grocery Store on you left. Then turn left into the Southland Center parking after you drive through the traffic light intersection of 15th Street and 5th Ave.

Directions traveling West: From Highway 22: Drive until you reach the traffic light intersection of 15th Street and make a right turn. Turn right at the traffic light intersection of 5th Avenue and turn into the parking lot of the Southland Center. From Highway 31: Travel on Highway 31 until you reach the traffic light intersection of 15th Street. You will be at the intersection across from HEB grocery store, turn left on 15th street. Then turn left in the parking lot of the Southland Center after you pass through the traffic light intersection of 15th Street and 5th Avenue.
